Is it part of being Christian to attempt to convert others?

just ignore people like them. i don't think they would like me preaching the word of the flying spaghetti monster and claim its the way to the beer mountain and stripper factory. They should have the common courtesy not to preach the word of god and claim its the way to heaven.
