Does anyone know what kind of plant has green leaves with pink welts on them?

These leaves are green with pink welt looking things on them, they look like they have little buds growing all over them, they are covered in these pink things. I weeded these leaves out of my rose bush and ended up having to go to the doctor for poison sumac and get put on steroids. I've never seen anything like them before. Any help is appreciated, my rose bush is getting overtaken by these leaves, but I'm scared to touch them again.
