I'm forming my LLC online, can I act as my own registered agent?

I am doing this right now. I found the doents online. State of California Secretary of State website. Search forms and fees or search LLC. The fee is $70 but that is for you to do everything in the business to get it going and when you are up. These other companies charge for their availability to sign for you and act as your "Agent" in California, and for filing. Not needed for forming an LLC, you can certainly do it all yourself. Just start googling, the answers are out there.
