Is gout hereditary or always ped on?

Im a 22 year old male and my father has gout, his mother also has it. does that mean that i will get it? is it always ped on to the next generation? i have two brothers and two sisters. i want to know what the chances are that i will get it and what age is it likely to appear? thanks.
