Getting Hystorectomy?

Yes I'm aware that once you go through with the procedure you can't have children. Spare me all the moral mumbo jumbo. I just have a couple questions. How old d'you have to be to have the procedure? Once you have the procedure will you go through menopause through the rest of your life?
